Support for students with additional needs in mainstream classes at Model Farms High School is administered through the Learning and Support Teams which meet fortnightly. A meeting with a student, parents and staff may be required to discuss advice from an outside professional and to form an Individual Learning Plan. The Learning and Support Teacher (LaST) communicates with class teachers to make sure that appropriate modifications and arrangements are in place to cater for individual learning needs. Our LaST and School Learning and Support Officers (SLSOs) work with individuals and small groups to support students across all subjects and grades.
