Curriculum
The school week is divided into 30 periods. There are 6 periods of roughly 52 minutes per day.
School begins at 8.35am and finishes at 3.00pm with the exception of Wednesday which finishes after Sport at 2.40pm
STAGE 4
Students study a wide range of subjects to introduce them to secondary education and provide a basis for later choices for future education. All students in Year 7 and 8 undertake the following courses each fortnight for the number of periods indicated:

Year 9
As well as the core subjects, students study 3 electives. Electives are maintained for both years 9 and 10. The pattern of study for each fortnight is:

Year 10
Students follow the same pattern of study as Year 9.
STAGE 6
Students complete the Preliminary Course (Year 11) and the HSC Course (Year 12).
Year 11
Students must study a minimum of 12 units for the Preliminary Course. English is compulsory. Not all courses run each year. The decision as to which course runs is based upon the number of students selecting courses during the subject selection process.
